How Upspring Works with Families

For Families

Students referred to Upspring by school staff will have access to individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and educational resources.

Care Journey

Guidance Counselor Referral

After your child receives a referral from your school counselor, our Care Coordinator will reach out, collect insurance information, and schedule the assessment.

Assessment

Within 7 - 10 days, the student and their family will meet with a licensed mental health professional for an hour to explore their family's needs and develop a plan.

Personalized Care

Your child starts their care with Upspring with individual therapy, group therapy, or medication if appropriate. Upspring also offers individual weekly sessions between parents and clinicians to work on strategies to support your child.

Ongoing Support

Upspring will provide ongoing support to kids and their families in between sessions by updating families on student progress. If students require more support, we'll work with families to find specialized care.
